HLTAID011 First Aid Training & HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Course Details:
This course is the minimum requirement for Workplace First aid compliance. In this course you will learn the skills and knowledge to provide first aid responses and life support, manage casualties, the incident and other first aiders, until qualified emergency help arrives at the scene. HLTAID011 Provide First Aid is trained in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
Certification
Statement of attainments will be issued on successful completion for:
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid: Valid for 3 years from date of completion
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR): Valid for 12 months from completion of training

The assessment criteria requires students to demonstrate the ability to correctly perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on an adult manikin placed on the floor. If you have limitation that would affect your ability to complete this requirement, please call to discuss prior to enrolling. The assessment consists of a written theory, practical and scenario-based assessment.
